Rosendo Gutierrez Rosendo Gutierrez, 94, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012, in Laredo, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. Mr. Gutierrez was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. army 62nd Airborne Infantry Battalion, company A. He was a proud associate of the H.E.B. family retiring with over 20 years of service. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cruz Gutierrez Rodriguez; parents, Rosendo and Guadalupe Gutierrez; sisters, Carlota Peña Gutierrez and Felicidas Orozco Gutierrez; brothers, Carlos and Paul Gutierrez; grandchild, Rolando Gutierrez III; great grandchild, Belisario Hernandez Guerra and son-in-law, Victor Moctezuma. He is survived by his children Gloria (Jesus) Flores, Rosendo (Grace) Gutierrez Jr., Rolando (Rosie) Gutierrez, Yolanda Moctezuma, Guadalupe (Joe) Schuler and Isabel Lopez; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 14, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 8 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jesus Flores Jr. (Jesse), Rolando Gutierrez Jr., Jose Raul Guerra, Steve Benavides, Raymundo Silva and Alfredo Gonzalez. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roy Gutierrez, Brandon Z.
