Jeffrey Ramirez, 25, joined our heavenly Father on Saturday, September 15, 2012. U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jeffrey Ramirez had a love for outdoor activities including fishing, camping, boating, cooking out with family and friends, and enjoyed traveling. His greatest pride and joy was spending time with his son. He graduated from Nixon in 2005. He later complete four years of to the United States Border Patrol. We would like to thank everyone who was there for him throughout life who we knew he held close to his heart, including Border Patrol Hebbronville, Freer, and all Laredo sector stations. A special thank you to: the nurses, doctors and staff of Laredo Medical Center, Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, and Life Care Acute Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. We also wish to acknowledge all of the many prayers, calls, visits and electronic postings. Heartfelt thanks to Laredo and surrounding areas for all contributions and support during this difficult time. Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Manuel and Esther Ramos; Aunt Aurora Chavez, Uncle Juan Manuel Ramos Jr., and Uncle Reymundo Ramos; Paternal Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Martin and Dolores Ramirez. He is survived by his Common-law Wife, Amelia Maribel Ojeda; Son, Jeffrey Ramirez Jr.; his son’s mother, Clarissa Carrillo; Parents, Joe and Elsa Ramirez; Sister, Michelle Ramirez; Twin Brother, Christopher Ramirez; Brother, Jose (Joey) Ramirez Jr., and nephew Luis Antonio Elizondo Jr. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Christ the King Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Out of funeral home pallbearers will be Juan Carlos Palacios, Ruben Gonzalez, Erick Perales, Albert Martinez, Alex De Leon, Reyes Valdepena, Fernie Avila, and Oscar Morales. Into the Church pallbearers will be Christopher Ramirez, Joey Ramirez, Freddy Campos, David Mendoza, Eddie Chavez, Elio Ibarra, Ruben Elizondo, and Reymundo Ramos Jr. Our of the Church pallbearers will be Eduardo Ramirez Jr., Hector Ramirez Jr., Juan Antonio Cavazos Jr., Steven Ramirez, Oscar Ramirez Jr., Leo San Miguel, Raul Labrada, and Enrique Gonzalez Honors will be provided by the United States Border Patrol Honor Guard.
