Edelmira Hinojosa-Gonzalez

Edelmira Hinojosa-Gonzalez passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Edelmira is preceded in death by her parents, Adalberto and Maria Guadalupe Hinojosa; brothers, Adalberto Hinojosa Jr., Jose Rodolfo Hinojosa and Ulises Hinojosa. She is survived by her loving children, Edith (Vicente) Astudillo, Martha (Dennis) Lewis, Sonia (Isaias) Garcia, Edelmira (Manuel) Fernandez, Angelita (Cesario) Batalla, Lupita (Billy) Reed, Norma A. Gonzalez, and Arturo (Sara) Gonzalez. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
