Alfonso Piñeyro Mr. Alfonso Piñeyro, (100 years 8 months), passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He lived his life to the fullest and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico Piñeyro and Felipa Perez; his loving wife of 65 years, Elisa Cardenas Piñeyro; infant daughter, Ethel Piñeyro. Mr. Piñeyro is survived by his loving children, Elisa P. (Benjamin) Schwartz, Dr. Alfonso (Rita) Piñeyro, Marco Antonio (Petra) Piñeyro, and Ma. Ethel Kruse; grandchildren, Veronica Piñeyro, Annette (Frank) Conover, Elisa (Jose Luis) Santos, Dr. Alfonso (Annie) Piñeyro III, Ylda (John) Capriccioso, Angelica S. (Ricardo) Hernandez, Meghan K.(Jonathan) Hash, Marco Antonio (Guisou) Piñeyro II, Marion W. Kruse, Tyler B. Kruse; great grandchildren, Joaquin Alberto Hernandez, Aria Rose Capriccioso, Valentin Benicio Hernandez and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 7:00pm in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
