Jose Angel Holguin Mr. Jose Angel Holguin, 71, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Alice, Texas, where he resided for 47 years. Mr. Holguin is preceded in death by his parents, Espetacion Holguin and Victoria R. Holguin. He is survived by his sons, Jose A. Holguin Jr. and Jacob Steven Holguin; granddaughters, Desiree and Colleen Holguin; siblings, Angelica Martinez, Maria Guadalupe Halley, Victor M. Holguin, Alfonso Holguin, George R. Holguin, Gail B. Wilson, Delia Holguin, Raúl Holguin and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 8:20 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Agustin Cathedral. A mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
