Duncan Joseph “Joe” Grant We regret to announce the passing of Duncan Joseph “Joe” Grant on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 after a very long and courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Antigonish Nova Scotia, Canada on August 13, 1940. He was an engineer at heart, but dearly loved golf. He will be sadly missed by his family friends and associates in Laredo. Mr. Grant is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mabel Grant; son, Robert Grant; sister, Mabel Arstault; brothers David Grant and Raymond Grant. He is survived by his son, Patrick Grant; grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Mia; siblings, Sharon, Greta, Richard, Neil, Carl, Owen, Kevin, Gary, Paul and Michael. Also surviving are numerous relatives and friends. A chapel service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the chapel.
