Francisco Casarez, 71, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Casarez, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor was born to Pablo and Mercedes Casarez on June 16, 1941. He attended local schools graduating from Martin High School class of 1959. Mr. Casarez is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Mercedes Casarez; brother, Pablo Casarez Jr.; mother-in-law, Elena Aguilar and daughter, Martha Casarez. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Consuelo Casarez; children, Gloria (Jose) Gonzalez, Irene (Jaime) Garcia, Javier (Claudia Irazema) Casarez; grandchildren, Jessica and Jennifer Garcia, Humberto and Cristina Quiroz, Wesley Paredes, Roberto, Elizabeth and Erika Palacios, Leslie Paredes, J.J. Gonzalez, Eila and Jonatan Espinoza; great-grandchildren, Liliana Porter, Isabella Palacios, Audrey and Wesley Jr. Paredes; siblings, Maria Luisa (Manuel) Cruz, Ramon (Aurora) Casarez, Rosario (Reymundo†) Alva, Pedro (Diana) Casarez, Evangelina (Eduardo) Villarreal and Josefina (Pablo†) Casarez. Also surviving is his family at Home Depot for which he had been employed for the past 12 years. A vigil will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
