Maria Dolores Sandoval

Maria Dolores Sandoval, 70, entered the Lord’s Kingdom on Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Dolores Graduated from San Augustine High School in 1961. She attended Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She returned to Laredo to serve her community. Dolores worked with the city of Laredo for 31 years. She will be truly missed by her family as she was the life of the family gatherings and a beautiful mother to her children and grandchildren. Dolores is preceded in death by her husband Gerardo Sandoval; parents, Simon Luna, Estella Luna; siblings, Simon Luna, Felipe Luna, Pedro Luna (Anita Luna), Rosario Salinas (Adan Salinas), Guadalupe Elena Ramirez (Luis Ramirez). She is survived by her children, Gerardo Sandoval, Monica Judith Gutierrez (Javier A. Gutierrez Jr.), Estella Marie Sandoval, Lucia Elena Sandoval; her grandchildren Jerry Sandoval, Andres Sandoval, Javier A. Gutierrez III, Judith Marie Gutierrez, Carlos Navarro, Manuel Navarro, Steven Huerta, Sophia Huerta; her sisters, Maria Cooper and Lucia Ramirez; brother, Augustine Luna (Lourdes Luna); sister- in- law, Aurora Luna. A rosary will be recited on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
