Santiago Villasenor Jr.

Santiago Villaseñor, Jr. Santiago Villaseñor, Jr. passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. He was a World War II Veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was a PFC with military history, “Sharp Shooter Riffle”, Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapon. He retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad Service after 32 years. Mr. Villaseñor is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Amparo G. Villaseñor; parents, Santiago and Eligia Villaseñor; siblings, Pedro Villaseñor, Jesusita De Luna, Evangelina Ramírez and María Reyes. He is survived by his children, Magdalena Villaseñor, Santiago (Teresa) Villaseñor III, Beatriz (Ernesto) Fernández, Xavier (Mary) Villaseñor, Leticia I. (Douglas) Villarreal, Francelia (Raul) Rosas. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Bernardino Villaseñor; sister, María Yruegas; nieces, Gloria De Luna, Juanita Fuentes; as well as numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Adonis Zuniga- Goldwater,Dr. Joseph P.
