June 24, 1945 — July 20, 2013

Carmen Ramirez Rendon Carmen Ramirez Rendon passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Carmen Ramirez Rendon, the youngest of four children, was born on June 24, 1945 to Jose Delarosa and Concepcion Ramirez. Shortly after, she began her banking career at The Laredo National Bank which lasted over 20 years. She later worked for Catholic Social Services. She married her husband, Carlos Rendon on January 7,1977. They were blessed with two daughters, Cristina Rebecca and Carmen Raquel--her pride and joy; along with her grandchildren, they were the center of her universe. Carmela, affectionately called by all, was a pillar for her community--a loving, giving person whom everyone could count on. She lent a hand to anyone in need. She always met everyone with a smile and generous manner and provided comfort with her good and Godly ways. Our loss is Heaven's gain as she smiles down upon us. Mrs. Rendon is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Concepcion; brothers Jose and Roberto Ramirez and her husband, Carlos Rendon; brother-in-law, Jose Rendon; sisters-in-law, Alicia Rendon and Elva (Ignacio) Portillo. Also surviving are, sisters-in-law, Aurora Rendon, Dora (Anibal) Magallanes, Irma (Alfonso) Steel; brother-in-law, Alfredo (Sara) Rendon and many nieces and nephews.
