Amalia Saenz Martinez, 85, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her loving husband, Salvador Martinez; son, Rene Martinez; daughter, Dolores “Didi” Martinez; also surviving are numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. All wishing to attend are asked to please meet at the church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the New Hebbronville Cemetery in Hebbronville, Texas.
