Vicente Treviño Jr. Vicente Treviño Jr, 76, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a dedicated educator with a great passion for helping his students. He also was a very spiritual man who enjoyed sharing his faith with everyone he met. Mr. Treviño is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Constancia V. Treviño; brothers Fidel Martinez and Enrique Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife, Josefina P. Treviño; children, Vicente Treviño III, Sergio (Lahoma) Treviño, Sandra (Brad) Thompson; grandchildren: Patrick (Cate) Thompson, Katelin, Alessandra and Christopher Thompson, Gabriela and Olivia Treviño, Julia and Erik Treviño. Great grandchildren: Eli and Ara Thompson; sisters, Maria T. Gonzalez and Juanita Gamez. Also surviving are his brother-in-law, Manuel (Anna) Perusquia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vicente Treviño III, Manuel Perusquia III, Martin Segura, Juan Victor Gonzalez, Gerardo Gonzalez, Jaime Gonzalez, Vicente Javier Gonzalez and David Lopez.
