Maria de Jesus Gonzalez Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, 98, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her plants. She also loved cooking, especially for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband, Raymundo Gonzalez Sr.; daughter, Maria Felipa (Benito) Chapa; siblings, Ramon (Alvina) Lara, Florencio (Nena) Lara, Julia (Francisco) Trevino, Maria (Eusebio) Molina, Guadalupe (Mateo) Morado. She is survived by her two sons, Francisco (Julia) Gonzalez and Raymundo (Armandina) Gonzalez Jr. and daughter, Anita (Juan†) Morado. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. All wishing to attend, please meet at the church. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
