Consuelo Peña On March 19th 2014, our Beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, to many, Consuelo Peña, 56, was called upon by The Lord. Mrs. Peña was a loving mother to both her children and devoted to her husband. She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Guadalupe Palomo; and parents-in-law, Jose and Olivia Peña. Proven an honest, dedicated, and hard worker and fighter till the very end, Mrs. Peña  always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand; her willingness to help others in need was her specialty. She leaves behind two daughters, J. Monica Peña and Selena Garcia as well as her loving husband, Juan Manuel Peña; siblings, Jesus Hernandez, Concepcion Hernandez Rodriguez, Juan Miguel Palomo, Ricardo Palomo, Daniel Palomo, Juanita Palomo, and Guadalupe Garcia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Juanita (Hector) Solis, Gloria (Arturo) Tanguma, Joe (Josie) Peña, Javi (Laura) Peña, Albert Peña, Andy (Juanita) Peña, Arturo Peña, and Armando (Araceli) Peña as well as numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own. A beautiful memory deeper than gold, every day in some small way you will be missed more than words can say. In our hearts, you will always stay loved and remembered. A rosary was recited on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A mass was celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment followed at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
