Javier Gonzalez Mr. Javier Gonzalez, 78, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dolores Alicia Gonzalez; children, Graciela (Sebastian Padron, M.D.) Padron, Blanca Alicia (Luis Enrique) Treviño, Javier (Judy D.) Gonzalez, Gabriel (Roxana) Gonzalez, and Melissa Gonzalez; grandchildren, Luis E. Treviño Jr., Antonio Treviño, Bianca A. Treviño, Krisdian (Genaro) Uribe, Stefan T. Padron, Laura B. Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez III, Carolina E. Gonzalez, Jacob A. Gonzalez, Yazmin Gonzalez and Gabriel J. Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Kiana and Alex Valadez, and Sebastian and Haley Gonzalez; special friends, Neybeth Magaña, Stevie and Sonya, and Rodolfo Sanchez. He is also survived by his sisters, Maria Pura Tims, Blanca G. de Canales, and Graciela G. Flores as well as nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. A rosary was recited on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Javier Gonzalez Jr., Javier Gonzalez III, Luis Enrique Treviño Jr., Antonio Treviño, Stefan T. Padron, Sebastian T. Padron, M.D., Luis E. Treviño, D.V.M., and Genaro Uribe. Honorary pallbearers were Gabriel Gonzalez, Jose Fidel Hernandez, Roberto Ortiz, and Ruben Mahan. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Rafael J. Deliz and the ICU Staff. Arrangements were under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home, 310 Hillside Road.
