Angelina S. Rubio Mrs. Angelina S. Rubio, 91 was born in Laredo, Tx on September 5, 1922 and passed away on May 16, 2014 in San Antonio, Tx. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Rubio; parents, Jose Sandoval and Anselma Soto; her sons, Homero Rubio and Eduardo Rubio. She is also preceded in death by her 3 brothers. She is survived by her children, Jose Luis (Miriam) Rubio, Norma (Salvador) Sosa, Juan Rubio, Hilda (Jose) Sanchez, and Elsa Rubio. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Jaime Sanchez, Alberto Martinez, Juan Martinez, Salvador Sosa Jr., Alex Camacho, and Ricky De Hoyos.
