Pablo Jacobo “Jack” Suneson Mr. Pablo Jacobo “Jack” Suneson, 65, passed away on January 28, 2015. Jack grabbed life with both hands. Jubilant, luminous, charismatic, vibrant, earnest and cheerful, his enthusiasm was infectious—whether it was for a finely-crafted work of a Guadalajaran artisan, for a particularly authentic and inspired dish at a favorite restaurant, or a lovely pueblo or landscape. He told effortlessly bilingual jokes and ribald stories que se troncharían de risa. Jack’s passion for whatever he was describing was deceptively contagious; before you knew it, you were completely caught up in it, too. His greatest devotion was for people, making everyone he encountered feel special. He laughed with his whole body and when you left his presence, life seemed a little drabber, yet your step was lighter, and your outlook was more optimistic. Mr. Suneson is survived by his wife, Pamela Suneson; mother, Marti Franco; children, Yael Suneson, Abigael Suneson, Nathanael Suneson, Daniel Suneson and Michael Suneson. He is also survived by his brother and sister, Ronald Barnstone and Ricarda Suneson; sister-in-law, Anne Barnstone; other relatives and friends from Mexico City, Puebla, Mexico and Israel as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Jewish Rest Cemetery in the City of Laredo Cemetery.
