Mario Garcia Mr. Mario Garcia went to meet our Lord on Monday, February 16, 2015 in Laredo, Texas, at the age of 91. Mr. Garcia was born on August 15, 1923 in Monterrey, N.L, Mexico. He was a lifetime member of the Cursillo Movement and choir. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and friend; and was always ready to entertain with his good humor and jokes. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years of marriage, Hermina M. Garcia; and son, Jesus Garcia. He is survived by his children, Mario E. (Susana V.) Garcia, Irma Yolanda (Alfredo) Martinez, Javier (Idalia L.) Garcia; grandchildren, Mario E. Garcia III, Veronica Garcia, Stephanie E. Garcia, Nicholas E. Garcia, Daniella J. Garcia as well as many nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
