Jose Flores

Jose “Joe” Flores Jose "Joe" Flores, 73, entered into the gates of heaven on Monday, March 2, 2015. For more than 40 years, Joe worked as a skilled craftsman on welding projects across Texas. He began working in the metal industry at a young age in a welding shipyard in Houston. He ultimately owned Flores Welding & Ornamental Iron in Laredo. Joe was known by his friends as a big-hearted man whose prized possessions were his family and friends. He was quick-witted and made everyone laugh. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. During his retirement years, he enjoyed traveling with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him - from the staff at McDonalds to his family and friends. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Minerva G. Flores; sons, Jesus Hector, Jose Jr. (Veronica) and Marco Antonio; daughter, Mayra Minerva; and grandchildren, Gianni, Ezra, Caleb, Aidan and Hannah. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
