Mrs. Monica Flores Mrs. Monica Flores, 68 passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, Tomas Luna; loving husband, Oscar Flores. Mrs. Flores is survived by her mother, Hipolita Valdez de Luna; children, Cynthia (Cesar) Bocanegra, Enrique A. (Gabriela) Guerrero, Oscar (Karina) Flores Jr., Lorena (Cesar) Castilla, Tomas (Monica) Flores; 22 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Christina Salazar, Regina (Eradio) Hinojosa, Hermelinda (Teodoro) Delgado, Felipa (Antonio) Hernandez, Susana (Guadalupe) Chavez, Irene (Ramiro) Esparza; brothers, Jose (Jane ) Luna, Juan Carlos (Mary) Luna and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
