Kathleen S. Hein After a short battle with Cancer, Mrs. Kathleen S. Hein, passed away at the age of 83 on the morning of May 7, 2015 surrounded by her children. A native of the Laredo Community, an avid bowler and cattle rancher. Mrs. Hein worked and retired from UETA. Ms. Hein was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Hein Sr.;son, James Henry Hein Jr.;parents, Ruth and William Smith;brothers, Leslie (Norma) Smith and William (Nel) Smith. She is survived by her sister, Frances Helen Pape; Son, Oscar Daniel (Kayce) Hein; daughters, Jennifer (David) Langenberg, Linda M Hein (Sergio Dominguez), Sandra A (Michael) Pelkey, Mary C (Hugo Sergio) Garcia and Karen D Hein; daughter-in-law, Marina Hein; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and close friends A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 8:15 a.m. from the Hillside Funeral Home to Divine Mercy Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery. Pallbearers: James H. Hein III, Robert A. Hein, Victor D. Nenque, David Gonzales, Thomas Gray, Robert Zimmerman. Honorary pallbearers: Storm Maldonado, Ricardo Rodriguez II, Arnold Salinas, Oscar Ricardo Salinas, Roland Smith and Richard Smith.
