Orfelinda Vela

Orfelinda Vela Ms. Orfelinda Vela passed away on May 26, 2015 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 86. Ms. Vela is preceded in death by her parents, Arturo and Alicia Vela; siblings, Alicia Escobar, Guadalupe Salazar, and Arturo Vela Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Aurora Loredo, Sister Magdalena Sofia Vela, Rita Ortiz, Teresa (Jose) Vielma, Francisca Sara Garza, and Maria Del Carmen (Ricardo) Gonzalez as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow to the Jardin de los Angeles Cemetery in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas.
