Rosalio Herrera, Jr.

Rosalio “Lio” Herrera, Jr. Mr. Rosalio “Lio” Herrera, Jr. passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the age of 35. Mr. Herrera is preceded in death by his grandfather, Francisco Alba; uncles and aunt, Francisco Alba Jr., Gerardo Alba and Gloria E. Alba; He is also preceded in death by his step-brother, Ramiro Torres. He is survived by his mother, Alma Rosa Alba; father, Rosalio (Rosa) Herrera; sisters, Rebeka Herrera, Lizandra (Gilbert) Ortigosa and Kassandra Herrera. He is also survived by his grandmother, Imelda Alba as well as nephews, Brandon Charles, Diego Ortigosa and numerous family members. A prayer service will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow after the service to the City of Laredo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rosalio Herrera, Miguel Alba, Adan Hernandez, Jr., Andrew Alba, Reynaldo de la Pena and Lauro Alba, Jr. The family thanks Dr. Garza-Gongora for his commitment in caring for our precious angel Lio throughout the years.
