Virginia Flores Trevino Virginia Flores Trevino, 96 was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. “Honey” as she was affectionately known, was born on August 11, 1919. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister and good friend to all who knew her. Those that knew her; know her grandchildren were her most precious gifts. She enjoyed spending time at the ranch with family and friends. She leaves with a great tradition of love for family, being good and kind to others and to always trust in God. Mrs. Trevino is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Trevino; parents, Alberto Flores and Otila Rodriguez; siblings, Leonel (Argelia) Flores, Alicia (Evaristo +) Rodriguez, Daniel Flores, Fidel (Olga) Flores and Alberto (Eva) Flores Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Otila Trevino (Joe E.) Ruiz Jr.; grandchildren, Joe E. (Patricia) Ruiz III, Daniel L. Ruiz, Priscilla R. (Juan Carlos) Saenz, Gina Liza R. (Greg) Bryan and Gabriela R. (Roberto) Frausto Jr. Mrs. Trevino is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Joseph and Kaylani Ruiz; Kaytlynn, Kendall, Kellee and Kynzee Bryan; Roberto III, Daniela and Gabriel Frausto and Mrs. Trevino’s sisters, Amelia Flores (Isidro +) Trevino, Ana Flores( Humberto +) Sandoval and Maria Elena Flores and numerous relatives and friends. The family will be receiving guests on Sunday January 10, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose E. Ruiz, Jr., Joe E. Ruiz, III, Daniel L. Ruiz, Juan Carlos Saenz, Greg A. Bryan, Roberto Frausto, Jr., Rolando San Miguel and Edmundo Gonzalez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph I. Ruiz, Roberto Frausto, III and Gabriel A. Frausto.
