Reynaldo Infante Moreno, 85, was called by the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Josefina Infante; children Luz Infante Lucio, Martin (Cindy) Infante, Sonia (Jerry) Alvarado, Irma (Cutberto) Trejo, Reynaldo Jr. (Aurora) Infante; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and sister Manuela (Beco +) Saenz. Reynaldo was a devoted amateur boxing coach who influenced many young boxers through his teachings about ordinary life, family values and self-respect as individuals. He has been recognized for devoting 60 years of his life with loyalty, hard work, dedication and service to the youth in the boxing community. He was told by many parents “Thank you for devoting your life to our children-our future”. He was an outstanding coach that will forever stand out in our community for the role he played in changing the lives of our youth. His coaching and expertise will be greatly missed in the boxing community. His family will greatly miss him but finds comfort in knowing that he is now peacefully with the Lord. Holy mass will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, guests wishing to attend, please meet at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
