Homero Ramon, Sr. Homero Ramon, Sr., 75, was called by the Lord on Friday, February 12, 2016. He was retired form LISD after 31 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his outgoing personality and kindness which remained unchanged until the end. “He was a wonderful man who will be missed. He left behind a legacy of wonderful children and very caring wife. The world has become a little less funny with his loss.”(Juan Leal Jr.) He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Elvira Ramon; son, Carlos Ramon. He is survived by his wife, Marta Ramon; sons, Homero (Yolanda) Ramon, David (Janie) Ramon, Noel (Cristina) Ramon; daughter, Marta L. Ramon; 10 grandchildren who adored him and numerous relatives and friends. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
