Margarita Cantu

Margarita Cantu, 70, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Cantu is preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Zulema V. Medina; sisters, Gloria Medina, Manuela Medina; brother, Oscar Medina. She is survived by her husband, Epigmenio Cantu; children, Raul (Claudia) Cantu, Jorge Luis (Ruth) Cantu, Oscar Javier (Janet) Cantu, Veronica (Ramon) Muñoz, Victor Manuel (Angie) Cantu; brother, Raul (Andrea) Medina; sisters, Rosa (Arturo) Solano, Zulema Medina, and Emilia Medina. Mrs. Cantu is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Christ the King Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. The pallbearers will be, Raul Cantu, Jorge Cantu, Oscar Cantu, Victor Cantu, Jorge Cantu Jr., and Raul Cantu Jr. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
