Humberto Javier Leal, Sr. Humberto Javier Leal, Sr., 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Leal worked for 35 years for HEB Stores. He served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto Antonio and Juliana C. Leal; brothers, Cesar G. Leal and Ernesto J. (Sofia) Leal; sister, Ana Maria Landin; sister in law, Judith Leal. He is survived by his wife, Idalia R. Leal; children, Imelda (Raul) Molina, Humberto J. (Yvonne) Leal, Jr., Ramiro J. Leal, Ernesto J. Leal; grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Bo, Tara, Alexandra, Isabella, Jacob; great grandchild, J.D.; brother, Arturo A. Leal; sister in law, Yolanda Leal and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 9:30 a.m from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Fort Sam Houston Honor Guard and American Legion Post 59 Honor Guard.
