Martha Araceli Ibarra, 46, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. Ms. Ibarra graduated from J.W. Nixon High school and attended Laredo Community College and was employed with U.I.S.D for 23 years. She will always be remembered for the passion she had working with children and gardening. She loved her dogs Maggie and Rusty. Ms. Ibarra was also an active member at Grace Bible Church. Ms. Ibarra will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, Alberto Ibarra, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Juan Jose Avila and Rogelia Perez de Avila; paternal grandparents, Pablo and Santos Ibarra. Ms. Ibarra is survived by her mother, Maria de Jesus Ibarra; brothers and sisters, Rosa (Rafael) Salinas, Alberto (Margarita ) Ibarra, Jr., Domingo (Belinda) Ibarra, Ramon (Alma) Ibarra, Irma (Daniel +) Johnson, Leticia (Rogelio ) Quiroz, Jacqueline (Barry) Lanford, Mario Ibarra, Alicia (Ron) Oldenkamp, Melissa (Gerardo) Rodriguez. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Rafael A., Luis A., Nicholas O. Salinas, Stephanie M., Samantha A., Johnathan A. Ibarra, Joan M. Ibarra, Kimberly M. Ibarra, Nathan L., Benji L. Johnson, Amber L. Quiroz, Carolyn M. Lanford, Matthew A. Juarez, Aden Oldenkamp, Carolina E. Gomez, Liliana M. Gomez, Natalie M. Rodriguez; grandnephew, Colton B. Rodriguez, as well as other numerous relatives and friends (Fidencio Chavana). A prayer service was held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pallbearers were Rafael Alberto Salinas, Luis Antonio Salinas, Nicholas Orlando Salinas, Johnathan Ibarra, Nathan Johnson, Benji Johnson, Matthew Juarez and Aden Oldenkamp.
