Jose Luis "El Puma" Hernandez

Jose Luis Hernandez, 65, passed away on Monday, January 09, 2017 in Rio Bravo, Texas. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his father, Juan Rogelio Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia R. Hernandez; children, Jose Luis (Georgina) Hernandez, Jr., Veronica (Juan) Lara, Maribel (Jose Alfredo) Hernandez, Enrique (Jennifer) Hernandez, Roberto Hernandez, Leonela (Juan) Rodriguez, and Gabriel (Isabel) Perez; siblings, Ana Maria Solis, Cecilia Hernandez, Elena Guzman, Patricia (David) de la Cruz, Maricela (Jesus) Romo, Victor (Clint) Hernandez,Virgilio (Juanita) Hernandez, Jose Juan (Sylvia) Hernandez, and Juan Rogelio (Sylvia) Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
