Selma F. Avigael

Selma F. Avigael, 89, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. Selma worked side by side with her husband for over 50 years and was just as much a devoted wife as a devoted business partner. Everything she did -work and play- was done with the love of her life, Lester Avigael. Her family will also have fond memories of her wit and sense of humor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Avigael; parents, Louis and Bertha Franklin; sisters, Clarice (Norman) Seeman and Sylvia Shanken. Mrs. Avigael is survived by her son, Jack (Tiki) Avigael; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) Avigael, Stacy (Andrew) Mitler, and Elliot Avigael as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jewish Section in the City of Laredo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Congregation Agudas Achim of Laredo.
