Olivia C. Ortiz

Olivia C. Ortiz, 78, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Maria Luisa Castaneda; brother, Vicente Castaneda. Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her children, Jesus (Ana Laura) Ortiz, Oscar (Rosy) Ortiz, Fernando Ortiz; brothers and sisters, Juanita (Paul) Martinez, Pedro (Rosa) Castaneda, Rodolfo (Margarita) Castaneda, Maria Luisa (Lazaro) Luna, Ana (Mark) Webber; sister in law, Julia Castaneda and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
