Javier Ramos Sr.

Javier Ramos Sr., 61, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Laredo Texas. Mr. Ramos served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ramos is preceded in death by his wife, Sonia Ramos; mother, Maria C. Ramos; brothers, Arturo Ramos and Jose Carlos Ramos. He is survived by his children Gabriel Ramos, Javier Ramos Jr.; grandson, Abel Javier Cabello; father, Alberto Ramos; siblings, Alberto (Maria) Ramos, Daniel (Hilda) Ramos, Leticia Segovia, Rosa (Jose) Almeida; wife, Silvia L. Garza. Mr. Ramos is also survived by nephews, nieces, other family and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. There will be no procession; please meet at the cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Navy Honor Guard.
