Pablo Castelar

Pablo Castelar , 64, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Castelar worked at L.I.S.D as the head custodian for 38 years. Mr. Castelar is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia E. Bender; father, Emilio Castelar; siblings, Emilio Castelar Jr, Juan Castelar, Javier Castelar, and Sylvia Castelar. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Eugenia Castelar; daughter, Carolina ( Marty) Hood; granddaughters, Audrey Hood and Serena Bender; mother, Dora Lamar G. Castelar; siblings, Jorge Castelar, Jaime Castelar, and Dora Castelar, and Leticia Ellis, nephews, nieces, other family and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
