On October 26, 2019, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Adolfo Garcia passed away with his family by his side. His name will forever be engraved in the hearts of his loved ones for his wisdom, kindness, and noble heart. Adolfo Garcia was born May 27, 1929, in the loving arms of Florencio and Carmen Garcia in Laredo, Texas. He was the fifth of eight children; Esperanza, Florencio Jr., Reynaldo, Gilberto, Carmen, Fernando, and Mary Ellen. He wed to Irma Ochoa and their marriage was enhanced by the birth of their six children Kinney Garcia, Irma Garcia, Dr. George H. Garcia, Ileana Garcia Maldonado, Hector Garcia, and Cordelia Garcia. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Florencio and Carmen Garcia, his beloved wife Irma Ochoa Garcia, and his children Cordelia Garcia, Dr. George H. Garcia, and Irma Garcia.He is survived by his loving children Kinney Garcia (Yolanda), Ileana Maldonado (Sergio), Ariane Garcia (George+) and Hector Garcia (Amanda), as well as his grandchildren Kinney, Adrian, and David Garcia, Vanessa Garcia Pena, Ariane Garcia Loranca, and Chanelle Garcia, Meriel and Joshua Garcia, and Nicole and Cordelia Maldonado. And his first great-grandchild Kiara Isabella Loranca. He is also survived by his beloved friend Alicia Arias, and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.Adolfo Garcia and his brothers founded the Garcia Brother’s Banana Company in Laredo, Texas. He will be remembered most for his genuine smile and his deep devotion to God. Everywhere Adolfo went, he was sure to bring his love with him. Although Adolfo is no longer with us on this Earth, there is no doubt that he will forever be remembered as one of the most genuine, caring, men of all time. His name will be forever engraved in our hearts, and his wisdom and loving words will be remembered always.A rosary will be recited on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
