Alicia A. Rodriguez

Alicia A. Rodriguez passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 81. She was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Rodriguez was a humble and caring individual that loved to spend time with her family and specially her sisters. She always enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys games. She is preceded in death by her husband Hector Rodriguez; children, Hector Rodriguez Jr. and Javier Rodriguez; parents, Santos and Maria Arispe; siblings, Francisca Martinez, Sally Salazar, Raymundo Arispe, Alfredo Arispe, Ernesto Arispe, Amelia Arispe, Carlos Arispe, and Rosa Mojica. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her children Jaime (Diana) Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, and Sally Rodriguez; daughter in law, Maria Rodriguez; grandchildren, Cynthia Rodriguez, Blanca Rodriguez, Diana M. Ramos, Carlos Rodriguez Jr., Kianna Palacios, Johnny Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Becky Rodriguez Dunn, Erica Mendez, Michael Rodriguez, Desireah Rodriguez, Kazandra Ferchland, Gina Valdez, Zena Valdez and Lisa Santos. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 8:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
