Araceli Celestino de Cruz

Mrs. Araceli Celestino de Cruz, 54, entered into God's presence during the morning of July 8, 2023, having been lovingly and faithfully surrounded by her beloved family by her side. She was born on June 4, 1969 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico, the daughter of Pedro Celestino and Sofia Campos.

She is preceded in death by her niece: Anahi Cosio.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 32 years of marriage: Mr. Victor Manuel Cruz; children: Araceli (Josue) Tovar, Victor Manuel (Belinda) Cruz Jr., Vanessa (Gerardo) Parra, Diana Lizeth Cruz; grandchildren: Yahaira Tovar, Jaydin Tovar, Evelia Tovar, Bella Mae Victoria Cruz, Zef Oden Cruz, Luna Amari Cruz, Victoria Parra, Ariana Parra; parents: Pedro Celestino and Sofia Campos; siblings: Griselda (Raul) Burgos, Sofia (Arturo) Moreno, Olga Celestino, Martha (Francisco) Cosio, Pedro (Erika) Celestino Jr., as well as numerous nieces, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather to celebrate her life during visiting hours from 5 to 9 in the evening of Thursday, July 13, 2023 in the chapel at Hillside Funerals & Cremations. A Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 14, 2023 at St. Jude Catholic Church at 10:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
