Carlos Garza

Carlos Garza, 67, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in Laredo, Texas. Carlos was the most interesting person. He was the original strong and quiet type. Even through his severe and debilitating illness he never complained about anything. He was an extremely private person but very, very considerate about everyone. Carlos was a rancher and loved the outdoors. Carlos, take your final ride into the sunset and into heaven, Mr. Cowboy! Carlos is preceded in death by his father, Martin C. Garza; paternal grandparents, Martiniano and Luisa Garza; maternal grandparents, Abel and Felicidad Ramirez. Mr. Garza is survived by his mother, Guadalupe “Lupita” Toler; children, David (Jessica) Garza, and Analisa (Juan Carlos) Cavazos; siblings, Sylvia (Raul) Palacios, Jorge (Suzan) Garza, Sherry Lynn (Candelario) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Erica Ponce and Carlos David Cavazos; stepfather, Charles (Phyllis) Toler; mother of his children, Evelia Garza; and aunt, Sara (Arturo) Romero. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A chapel service will be celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.  A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the visitation.
