Carlota P. Dominguez

Carlota P. Dominguez was 92 and passed away on Wednesday, the 13th of March, 2019, in Refugio, Texas. Mrs. Dominguez was born July 7th, 1926 in Laredo, Texas. She was the daughter of Paulino and Carlota Palacios. She worked for more than 20 years as a teacher’s aide for Laredo Independent School District at Santa Maria Elementary School. Carlota was a Guadalupana for San Luis Rey Church and was also a Catholic Daughter. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hector Dominguez Sr., and her sister, Dora Briones. Mrs. Dominguez is survived by her: sister Maria Luisa Gonzalez, son Hector Dominguez Jr. and wife Margaret Dominguez from Laredo, TX. son Omar Dominguez Sr. and wife Sandra Dominguez from Refugio, TX. Daughter Sylvia Esther Dominguez and Chris from Houston, TX. Grandchildren: Cynthia Alicia Sequeiros, Ruben Dario Torres IV, Raiza Danielle Torres, Cordelia Dominguez, Andrew Dominguez, Kimberly Dominguez, Omar Dominguez Jr., Delora Renee Dominguez, 9 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, Ruben Dario Torres III, and other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. As per her wishes, she will be buried next to her husband, Hector Dominguez Sr. at a later date.
