Carolina A. Gutierrez, 93, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Gutierrez is preceded in death by her loving husband, Blas Gutierrez. Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her children, Mario (Yolanda) Gutierrez, Maricela (Victor +) Gutierrez, Jorge (Romana +) Gutierrez, Javier (Julieta) Gutierrez, Araceli (Pablo +) Lopez, Nidia Santos, Nancy Gutierrez, Blas (Rosa) Gutierrez Jr, and sister Beatriz Espinoza. She is also survived by 26 Grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous friends and relatives. A rosary will be recited on Friday, October 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the City of Laredo Cemetery.
