February 11, 1953 ~ January 19, 2024

On January 19, 2024, God called our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend Cayetano Riojas Jr. to his eternal rest.  

He is preceded in death by his parents: Cayetano Riojas Sr. and Guadalupe Riojas; in-laws: Antonio Rubio Sr. and Guadalupe P. Rubio, grandson: Zachary Sebastian Riojas; nephew: Antonio Rubio III, nieces: Selina Villarreal and Margaret Ann Garza; sister-in-law's: Diana Rubio Robles and Gloria Rubio. 

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 40 years of marriage: Rosa Elva Riojas; son: Carlos (Tiphani Lynn) Riojas; grandchildren: Tristan Kaleb Riojas, Charles Isaac Riojas, Elijah Michael Riojas, Kaitlynn Dior Riojas, brother in-law: Antonio Rubio Jr, Sister in law: Clelia Rubio, as well as other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm. 

Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at  San Martin de Porres Catholic Church at 10:30 am. 

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be: Carlos Riojas, Carlos Romero, Omero Cortez, David Garza, Mario Javier Garza, Cesar Omar Garza, Fred Garza, and Carlos Garza.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Beto Garza, Rene Garza, Daniel Garza, David Villarreal, Ernesto Gonzalez, Antonio Rubio Jr., Tristan Riojas, Charles Riojas, and Elijah Riojas.
