Concepcion J. Lara

Mrs. Concepcion J. Lara, 77, entered into eternal rest on July 4, 2024, gaining her independence from this world and into God's Heavenly Kingdom. We will forever love and cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Eduardo and Hilaria Jalomo; Eduardo Jalomo Jr., Elifonzo Jalomo, Juan Jose Jalomo, Maria Gonzalez, Rosalinda Medina, Dora Elia Mata, and brother in law: Juan Paez.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years: Arturo G. Lara; her children: Elisa (Sergio) Arrambide, Eloy (Claudia) Lara, Elvia (Miguel) Garcia; grandchildren: Sergio Arrambide Jr., Klarissa Arrambide, Christina Garcia, Jackie Garcia, Abygail Garcia, Miguel A. Garcia Jr.; Veronica (James) Justice, Alejandra Lara, Valeria Lara; great-grandchildren: Misael Garcia, Timothy Cotton, Kyra Sanchez; siblings: Daniel (Francisca) Jalomo, and Santa Paez; brothers and sisters in law: Maria Jalomo, Gloria Jalomo, Guadalupe Jalomo, Jose Gonzalez, Reyes Medina, Beto Mata, as well well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A heartfelt appreciation to Holy Saviour Hospice for their care, dedication, and support during her last weeks here on Earth: Rhonda, Christy, Sal, David, and Sophia.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at San Luis Rey Catholic Church on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Sergio Arrambide, Miguel Garcia, Sergio Arrambide Jr., Miguel A. Garcia Jr., James Justice, Misael Garcia, and Timothy Cotton.
