Daniel Peña, 57, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, followed by his wife, Doris Peña, 50, who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.
Daniel and Doris Peña both grew up in Laredo, Texas. They were the best example of what it meant to be in love. Everyone that knew them can attest to this. They grew together and reached many milestones. Danny and Doris both graduated from Nixon High school. Danny worked for Old Dominion Freight Line as a competent and professional driver and Doris worked for the United Independent School District as a caring and loving kindergarten teacher. They both married in Laredo, bought a home, and raised two beautiful daughters to be strong, brave, noble, loving, and caring individuals. They also contributed to the fulfillment of many family and friends. They were positive citizens and always did what was right. They knew what it was like to struggle and work hard, and they would never deny anyone a helping hand. Danny was always reading and learning about history and religion. He was also disciplined and exercised regularly. Doris was responsible and strove to achieve high academic standards by always continuing her education. She had a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and she only had two classes left to complete another Master’s degree in Education Administration. They were a loving couple because they supported each other in everything that they did. They did everything together. They fell in love and never let go. They are still in love and still together forever in Heaven watching over us and protecting us greatly.
