Mr. Eduardo Ramos, 84, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on July 30, 2023 in Laredo, Texas. He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, the son of Doroteo and Delia Ramos. He served his country in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his spouse: Maria Enriqueta Ramos; parents: Doroteo and Delia Ramos; brothers: Doroteo Ramos Jr, Roberto Ramos, Jose Homero Ramos; nephew Jose Homero Ramos Jr.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Mario Rene Garza, Patricia Ramos, Veronica Ramos, Eduardo Homero Ramos; grandchildren: Cristina Marie (Chente) Hernandez, Miguel Angel (Judy) Cantu, Jorge Antonio Cantu Jr., Crystal Marie Cantu, Luis Eduardo Cantu, Samantha Jo Sanchez, Isabel Ramos, Yana Elva Ramos; great-grandchildren: Matthew James Obasi, Mario Alberto Alvarez, Janelle Perdomo, Lelis Perdomo Jr., Vicente Hernandez Jr., Adrian Hernandez, Vince Hernandez, Gabriel Cantu, Leahbelle Cantu, Daniel Cantu, Ayden Anthony Cantu, Kaylee Guerrero; sister-in-law: Maria Teresa Ramos, and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funeral Home, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 8:40 am to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, for a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9am.

Military Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the mass. Military Honors will be provided by Ft. Sam Houston Honor Detail, as well as the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard. A cremation and private interment will be held at a later date.
