Eduardo Rodriguez

Mr. Eduardo “Lalo” Rodriguez, age 56, passed away in San Antonio, TX on Friday, December 13, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  He was a great father, uncle, and brother that always made his family laugh.  His family greatly enjoyed his rooting and enthusiasm for his beloved Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, San Antonio Spurs and Texas Longhorns.  He will be truly missed by his entire family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Carlos and Lucia Rodriguez, brothers Santos and Jose Carlos Jr. Rodriguez, and sisters Adela Rodriguez and Maria Isabel Palacios. Surviving Mr. Rodriguez are his sons Jose Eduardo Rodriguez, Mario Alberto Rodriguez, Jesus Eduardo Rodriguez, daughter Melissa Rodriguez, granddaughter Amy LeeAnn Rodriguez, and girlfriend Rosa Jaramillo.  Also surviving him are his sisters Manuela (Hector†) Hernandez, Lucia (Guadalupe†) Sanchez, Adela (Arnoldo) Villalon, Alisia Perales, Margarita (Robert) King, Esmeralda (Eloy) Robles, and brother Refugio (Maria) Rodriguez along with various nieces, nephews, and cousins.A rosary will be recited on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Jose Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Jose Eduardo Rodriguez, Mario Alberto Rodriguez, Refugio Rodriguez, Eloy Robles Jr., Alfonso Palacios III, Jorge Enrique Palacios, Juan Carlos Palacios, and Jose Juan Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfonso Palacios Jr., Eloy Robles, Gabriel Perales, Juan Jaramillo, and Ernesto Adams.
