Elvira A. Lozano

Mrs. Elvira A. Lozano, 91, entered into God's arms on January 13, 2024 in Austin, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1932 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Enrique Lozano Flores; daughter: Leticia Gutierrez; parents: Anibal Arzamendi and Maria de Jesus Loya; brother: Manuel Arzamendi.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Enrique R. (Perla) Lozano Jr., Virginia (Roberto) Astorga, Sara A. Lozano, Dora Elia (Armando) Martinez; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren: sister: Carmela Salazar, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7 pm.

The funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 11 am on Friday, January 19, 2024, to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:15 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Enrique R. Lozano Jr., Roberto Astorga, Jesus Diaz, Luis Mata, Luis Mata Jr., and Armando Martinez.
