Elvira G. Polendo

Mrs. Elvira Polendo, 83, entered into God's kingdom on Sunday, April 27, 2025, having been faithfully surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose J. Polendo; parents: Baltazar and Enriqueta Garza; siblings: Socorro Molina, Juana Salazar, Trinidad Garza, Ofelia Gutierrez, Sofia Garza, Baltazar Garza Jr.,

Surviving her are her beloved daughter: Elvira (Dante H.) Madrigal; grandchildren: Emika, Danika, and Ditka Madrigal; sisters: Guadalupe Zavala and Josefina Spaeth, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather to celebrate her life on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be offered for the repose of her soul at 7 pm.

All services will conclude at the end of the visitation and a cremation will follow at a later date.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Santa Rita de Casia Catholic Church at a later date.
