Enriqueta G. Villanueva

Mrs. Enriqueta G. Villanueva, 91, was called home to be with the Lord on November 8 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Gonzalo D. Villanueva; parents: Apolonio and Paula Garza; siblings: Catalina (Alfredo) Garcia; brother-in-law: Arnold Bur and sister-in-law: Olga (Ramiro) Martinez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Graciela Isabel (Edward) Swanson, Rosalinda Villanueva De Los Santos, Gonzalo David (Adriana R.) Villanueva Jr., Jorge Villanueva; grandchildren: Jennifer Swanson, Melissa (Darryl Roberts) De Los Santos, Alberto De Los Santos, David James (Celina) Villanueva, Gonzalo Adrian Villanueva, Briana Lizbeth Villanueva, great-grandchildren: Noah Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Aubrey Roberts, Isabel Swanson, Dylan Swanson, Chase Slater, Gabby Morgan; great-great-grandchild: Colton D. Slater; siblings: Eulalia (Inocencio) Villarreal, Esther (Eliezer) Rodriguez, Juana (Eleuterio), sister-in-law: Margaret Bur, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 7 am to 9:30 am at Hillside Funerals and Cremations. A Rosary will be recited at 7:15 am in the chapel.

The procession will depart at 9:30 am, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, to St. Francis Mother Cabrini Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Gonzalo D. Villanueva.

Pallbearers will be: Gonzalo David Villanueva Jr., Jorge Villanueva, Alberto De Los Santos, David James Villanueva, Gonzalo Adrian Villanueva, and Pablo A. Martinez.
