Francisca Diaz

Francisca Diaz, age 65 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Francisca was born in Guadalupe de Los Faz, Matehuala, S.L.P. on March 12, 1958, to Balbino Faz and Maria Teresa Orozco.

Francisca was married to Juan Diaz for 43 years. She was a homemaker. She loved cooking, embroidery and crocheting. Francisca was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, Texas.

Francisca will be greeted in heaven by her loved ones who have passed, her parents Balbino Faz and Maria Teresa Orozco, her brother Natividad Faz; and her sister Flora Faz. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her husband Juan Diaz, her brothers Balbino Faz, Salomon Faz, and Joel Faz, her sisters Basilisa Estrada and Socorro Faz, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations; 310 W. Hillside Rd, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

The funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, to St. Patrick Catholic Church; 555 E. Del Mar Blvd, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
