Frank Gonzalez Jr.

Frank Gonzalez, Jr., 70, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 7, 2021, surrounded by loved ones in New Braunfels, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez was a proud U.S. Navy Seabee, Union Pacific Railroad lead carman inspector, and journeyman welder.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Miranda Gonzalez; parents, Frank and Esperanza Gonzalez; brother, Juan Gonzalez; and cousin, Diana Prado.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Liza (Fidel) Gutierrez, Leticia (Steven) Moncivais, Leslie (Jacob) De La Cruz, and Frank Gonzalez, IV; 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Liana, Emily, Arnold, Andria, Kaylyn, Dominic, Laina Bo, and Sophia; brother, Ricardo Gonzalez; cousins, Rudy Martinez, Michael Martinez, Sharon Lara, and Jason Prado. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Frank Gonzalez, IV, Rudy Martinez, Michael Martinez, Steven Moncivais, Jacob De La Cruz, Ryan Moncivais, Fidel Gutierrez, and Arnold Gutierrez.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Ricardo Gonzalez.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Military honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 59 Honor Guard
